Jiang Min, female, was born in February 1978. She holds a master’s degree earned through in-service postgraduate studies and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). She now serves as Deputy Mayor of Nanjing and member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government.
She is responsible for work related to science and technology, industry, information technology, industrial breakthroughs, planning and natural resources, urban-rural development, housing security, forestry and parks, high-tech zones, power supply, and communication.
She supervises several municipal government departments:
Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Advanced Manufacturing Industry 1+4+6 Working Organization System (1 office for building a robust industrial ecosystem, 4 offices for promoting industrial breakthroughs and 6 industry-specific task forces), Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources, Nanjing Municipal Commission of Urban-Rural Development, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Housing Security and Real Estate, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Forestry and Parks (Bureau of Forestry), Nanjing Housing Provident Fund Management Center, and Nanjing Municipal Land Reserve Center.
She also maintains communication with the following municipal entities:
Nanjing Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, Nanjing Municipal Women’s Federation (Working Committee for Women and Children), Nanjing Municipal Science and Technology Association, Nanjing Federation of Industry and Commerce, local branches of communication agencies, Nanjing Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, and Nanjing Power Supply Company.
