Huo Huiping, female, born in March 1966, with an in-service postgraduate diploma. She is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and now serves as  Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee, Deputy Mayor, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, and Principal of Nanjing Municipal Academy of Governance.

She is responsible for the routine work of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, particularly work related to development and reform, major projects, food and material reserves, paired assistance and cooperation, private economy, national defense mobilization (civil air defense), human resources and social security, emergency management, foreign affairs, Taiwan affairs, data management, government service management, government information disclosure, statistics, taxation, finance, and administration of government offices. She also coordinates the municipal government’s work with Jiangbei New Area and assists in fiscal and audit-related affairs.

She supervises the following municipal government departments:

General Office of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government (Nanjing Municipal Counselor’s Office), offices of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government in other Chinese cities, Nanjing Municipal Development and Reform Commission (Food and Material Reserve Bureau), Nanjing Municipal National Defense Mobilization Office (Civil Air Defense Office), Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Emergency Management, Foreign Affairs Office (Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office) of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, Taiwan Affairs Office of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, Research Office of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Data Affairs (Government Services Management Office), Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Statistics, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Local Financial Regulation, Nanjing Municipal Administration of Government Offices, Reception Office of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, Nanjing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone Management Committee, Nanjing Zijin Investment Group Co., Ltd., Bank of Nanjing Co., Ltd., Nanjing Securities Co., Ltd., Nanjing Guosheng Investment Management Group Co., Ltd., and Nanjing Big Data Group Co., Ltd.
