Huo Huiping, female, born in March 1966, with an on-the-job postgraduate diploma. She is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and now serves as a member of the Standing Committee of CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee, Deputy Mayor, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government and Principal of Nanjing Municipal Academy of Governance.
She is responsible for the routine work of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, in charge of development and reform, major projects, food and material reserves, paired assistance, private economy, national defense mobilization (civil defense), human resources and social security, emergency management, foreign affairs, Taiwan affairs, data management, government service management, government information disclosure, statistics, taxation, finance, and administrative affairs. She also coordinates between the municipal government and Jiangbei New Area and assists in fiscal and audit-related affairs. She is temporarily in charge of planning, natural resources, urban and rural development, housing security, transportation and engineering construction, port construction management, urban management, and forestry and parks.
