Xu Feng, male, was born in October 1973. He holds a master’s degree earned through in-service postgraduate studies. He is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and now serves as Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee, Deputy Mayor and Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government.

He is responsible for work related to civil affairs, community management, ecology and environment, water conservancy and water affairs, agriculture and rural affairs, commerce, foreign economic relations, foreign trade, foreign investment, modern service industry, service outsourcing, comprehensive bonded zones, investment promotion, business attraction, veterans affairs, people’s armed forces, military-civilian mutual support, foreign affairs, Taiwan affairs, and market supervision. 

He supervises the following municipal government departments:

Nanjing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, Nanjing Municipal Water Authority, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce (Office for Port Services), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Nanjing Branch (Convention and Exhibition Office), Nanjing Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Veterans Affairs, Foreign Affairs Office (Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office) of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, Taiwan Affairs Office of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, Administration for Market Regulation (Intellectual Property Administration), and Nanjing Supply and Marketing Cooperative.

He also maintains communication with the following municipal institutions:

Military units (armed police forces) stationed in Nanjing, Nanjing Municipal Meteorological Bureau, Nanjing Disabled Persons’ Federation, Nanjing Charity Federation, Nanjing Municipal Committee on Aging, Jinling Customs, Nanjing Lukou Airport Customs, and Xinshengwei Customs.
