Direct high-speed rail services now connect Nanjing South Railway Station and Wuxi East Railway Station with Hong Kong West Kowloon Station.
Starting from January 26, 16 new destinations are added to the Hong Kong section of the high-speed rail connecting the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong. Among them are Nanjing and Wuxi, two popular tourist cities in Jiangsu Province. Services include G384 from Wuxi to Hong Kong, G385 from Nanjing to Hong Kong, and G386 for the return journey to Wuxi and Nanjing.

Demand has been strong: tickets for the first direct train departing from Nanjing sold out within half a day after going on sale on the morning of January 13.
With the new routes, travelers can book tickets via the 12306 app, website or at railway stations and enjoy a seamless, transfer-free journey from Jiangsu to Hong Kong in 7.5 hours.
