On March 13 afternoon, Government-Business Roundtable with Multinational Companies from Nanjing’s Friendship Cities was successfully held at the Jiangsu International Data Port.  Co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Nanjing Municipal Government, the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, and Xuanwu District Government, the event featured policy briefings from municipal departments including the Development and Reform Commission, Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Commerce Bureau, and Foreign Affairs Office. These presentations addressed key concerns of enterprises, covering energy assessment policies, priority development directions for building an industrial powerhouse city, foreign investment policies, the recent launch of the new version of Nanjing Municipal Government's English website, and measures to facilitate foreign nationals’ life in Nanjing.

The event attracted nearly 20 multinational corporations, including Emerson, Starbucks, Pfizer, BASF, Celanese, and Wacker Chemie, Qualcomm, Amazon, Johnson & Johnson and Medtronic. Xuanwu District promoted its investment environment, while local enterprises such as Simcere Pharmaceutical and Yuwell Medical participated in discussions. Moving forward, Nanjing Foreign Affairs Office will continue to strengthen its international friendship-city collaboration brand, endeavor to optimize the business environment, improve service quality for enterprises and residents, and better support the city's high-quality development.
