On December 5, 2024, Mr. Chen Zhichang, Mayor of Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, met with Ms. Helena Hedblom, President and CEO of Epiroc Group. Together with them were Mr. Dai Huajie, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Nanjing Municipal People’s Congress, and Mr. Wei Wuxian, President of Epiroc Greater China.

As a global leading supplier of mining and infrastructure equipment, Epiroc specializes in the research, development and production of rock drilling rigs, rock excavation machinery, and construction equipment. Over the years, Epiroc has maintained close partnership with Nanjing, and the Group’s projects in Nanjing all enjoyed robust growth.

During the meeting, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on continuously deepening cooperation with each other. They reached the consensus that the partnership between Epiroc and Nanjing has been highly productive and holds vast potential for future growth. Both sides expressed their commitment to leveraging their respective strengths to deepen cooperation in key areas such as technological research and development, market expansion, and intellectual property protection. They agreed to introduce to Nanjing more advanced projects, technologies, and products, accelerate the clustering of upstream and downstream enterprises along the industrial chain, and steer the mining and construction industries toward high-end, intelligent, and green transformation. In doing so, the two sides aim to realize win-win cooperation with mutual benefits at a higher level.
