    WINNING AGREEMENT SIGNED IN SEPTEMBER, 2016

    Situated on the bank of Dnieper River, Mogilev is a city in eastern Belarus. It is the administrative center of Mogilev Region and the third largest city in Belarus, with a population of around 383,000. Mogilev is an important industrial center of Belarus, with convenient transportation and an extensive rail and road network connecting it to the industrial and cultural centers of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. Nanjing and Mogilev established sister-city relationship in September 2016.In April 2015, Nanjing sent a delegation to Mogilev and held the “Nanjing Culture Day” activities. In May 2018, the Mogilev-Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Center, jointly constructed by the two cities, was formally established in the city. Nanjing continued to send TCM physicians to the center to provide Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment services to Mogilev citizens. In the same month, the Mayor of Mogilev came to Nanjing to participate in the “Nanjing World Historical & Cultural Cities Expo” and spoke as the representative of mayors of the sister cities at the opening ceremony. In November 2019, a delegation from Nanjing visited Mogilev to further promote exchanges and cooperation between the two cities.
