Now, there are 144 exhibitions and conferences confirmed to be held in Nanjing. Exhibitions this year will feature internationalization and scale.

In 2011, exhibition industry becomes an important pull for economic development of Nanjing. Totally 1782 large or medium exhibition and conferences were held in Nanjing, growing by 32% than 2010. Total area of exhibitions reached 1.7 million square meters, with a 15% increase YoY. There were 28 big exhibitions with more than 1000 booths, growing by 15% vs. 2010. Development trend of exhibition industry is strong.

Based on the confirmed exhibitions of 2012, we can find that there are many international exhibitions, such as 2012 The 10th China International Stockbreeding Exhibition, 2012 China International Marine, Port & Shipbuilding Fair, 2012 Asia Outdoor Trade Show, 2012 China International Lease Industry Fair and Lease Summit Meeting, the 30th China Jiangsu International Battery Bike and Component Fair, etc. And we also can find that 23 big exhibitions with more than 1000 booths have been confirmed. It is worth mentioning that the China CNC Machine Tool Fair to be held in April. As a symbolic exhibition of domestic equipment manufacturing industry, the scale of the exhibition will break the record of the exhibition industry of Nanjing.
