On the morning of August 15th, as head of the 25th China-visiting delegation of Japanese Mingxin Association, Matsuoka san brought a group of Japanese friends to attend the peace gathering in Nanjing, mourning for the 300,000 victims killed during the Nanjing Massacre.

Matsuoka san came to Nanjing for the first time in 1988. She went on a rough road in pursuit of truth without hesitation in order to reveal the historical facts.

Through hard-work in years, she interviewed over 250 Japanese veterans and kept a lot of video and written-form materials, as well as historical evidences of Nanjing Massacre. She has donated all these precious materials to the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders. (Yangtze Evening News)
