The journalist learns from Nanjing Science and Technology Association that, application for guiding fund project named “Overseas Wisdom Serving Nanjing” of this year has been started. 

Sources of the association says, “Overseas Wisdom Serving Nanjing” is a project covers introducing overseas wisdom, introducing high-level talents related to making use of international sci-tech resources and results, introducing high and new technology and transforming scientific and technological results. Total amount of the guiding fund is 200,000 RMB this year. It will be used to support 5-10 projects, each being given 5000-100,000 RMB. Potential applicant entity may sign up at the International Department of Nanjing Science and Technology Association before March 20th. Application forms are available at the website of the association (http://www.njkx.gov.cn) Nanjing launched the project of “Overseas Wisdom Serving Nanjing” last year and 8 projects were selected. 200,000 RMB specialized guiding fund has brought along counterpart funds of 590,000 RMB. Project implementing entities were driven to raise funds of 31.70 million RMB in total. So the guiding fund played a positive role in delivering and concluding the projects. (Nanjing Daily)
