| Interaction with Hand Language at “Japanese Culture Week’ |
2010 Nanjing-Japan Culture Week was opened on 1st. The delegation of Japanese overseas student who learn Chinese hand language visited Nanjing Senior Middle School for the Deaf on the afternoon. They introduced Japanese culture and communicated with students there with hand language. The delegation also performed Chinese hand language song and showed Summer kimono of man and woman. Students of Nanjing Senior Middle School for the Deaf staged a wonderful dance performance. It is reported that, this school has a long-term relation with Japan. 15 years ago, it received 50,000 dollars (ODA free aid) donated by Japanese government for teaching building expansion.
