On 28th, Chen Guangbiao, National Model of Morality donated 1 million RMB to Chile which is hit by 8.8 Magnitude Earthquake and he also advocated donations from other entrepreneurs. It is the first donation for earthquake-stricken areas in Chile received by Jiangsu Charity Federation.

Chen Guangbiao says, he will remember the scenes of 2008 great Wenchuan Earthquake all his life. When he hears that the devastation of Chile earthquake is more than twentyfold of Wenchuan, he feels obliged to do something. Therefore, he takes out 1 million RMB and donates it to Chile via Jiangsu Charity Federation in the hope of motivating more entrepreneurs to donate money and goods with his own deed and helping people of Chile.

 Mao Shanghui, Deputy Secretary of Jiangsu Charity Federation expresses, the 1 million RMB is the first donation the organization has received for Chile. They plan to contact China Charity Federation and the China Red Cross Society to sort out donation channels and give the money to affected Chileans as soon as possible. (Nanjing Daily)
