Changan Mazda Sales Company recently announced that they would achieve production and sales volume of 100,000 units this year and Changan Ford Mazda Nanjing Company will be the major production base for reaching this goal.

In recent days, even on weekends, the employee parking lot of Changan Ford Mazda is always full because the operators come to work overtime on the production line. Mazda 2 and New Fiesta are produced here.。
In Jan. this year, the auto market carried on the heat of last year. 18,900 cars of Mazda brand was sold in the month and Mazda 2 and Mazda 3 continued their sales momentum in the total of 7,132 units, 98% YOY increase.

Changan Ford Sales Company also declared the sales result of Jan. Totally 30,000 cars of Ford brand was sold with an aggressive YOY increase of 128%, continuing YOY increase for the 12th month. New Ford Fiesta which is popular among the younger generation set a best sales record in Jan. by 7,147 units.

Nanjing consumers favor locally produced cars more. Nanjing Tianhe, Mazda dealer and Nanjing Forland, Ford dealer in Nanjing both rank top 5 among dealer of the same brand in China.

In 2007, Changan Ford Mazda launched its second assembly plant in Nanjing and the first car produced there was Mazda 2.

Las year, with the aid of Nanjing Company, Changan Ford achieved its best sales result since establishment in 2001. Totally 230,000 units of Ford branded passenger cars were produced. New Fiesta made a sales of 47,000 units from launch in March till end of Dec. last year. At the same time, Changan Mazda accumulatively sold 72,700 units and Mazda 2 series made a record-breaking sales of 4,071 in December.

 Production volume of Nanjing Company in 2009 was around 70,000 units, which largely transcended 2008.
