On Jan. 28, "2010 New Year Banquet for Foreign-funded Enterprises in Nanjing and New Year Concert" was held in Nanjing Culture and Art Center. The activity was organized by the municipal government, undertaken by Nanjing Commerce and Trade Bureau and the Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment. Executives from nearly 200 enterprises with foreign or Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, overseas Chinese Investment, service outsourced enterprises, Nanjing based foreign associations and foreign-funded banks were invited. Miao Helin, Chairman of Nanjing CPPCC and Zhao Xiaojiang, Vice-Mayor attended the event.

It is introduced that, Nanjing holds New Year Reception Activity for enterprises with foreign investment every year. This year, with more innovation, a concert was also held to better present service function of the government and greet the New Year in a more lively way. At the concert, musicians of Nanjing Folk Orchestra staged a grand performance to the guests. Some foreign businessmen representatives and officials from Nanjing Commerce and Trade Bureau also participated in the show. The evening was fulfilled with joy and warmth. (Nanjing Daily)
