CSR Nanjing Puzhen Rolling Stock Works has got 3 contracts in African market as of Jan. 26th.

It is introduced that the contract of 20 driving force scattered internal combustion CRH between Puzhen and Tunis officially took effect. The company also signed a contract with Guinea on 25G carriages with semi-cushioned seats and dynamo vans; and a contract with Zimbabwe on Meter-Gauge Passenger Car. Total value of the 3 contract is about 120million USD. This is another important breakthrough for CSR going-out strategy and CSR brands going into international markets.

In recent years, CSR Nanjing Puzhen Rolling Stock Works continuously and stably scale-up domestic orders, meanwhile, it reinforce exploitation of foreign markets. A series of breakthrough has been achieved in overseas markets. Orders have been placed from Georgia, India, Malaysia, Iran and China Hong Kong. Products have been sold to Asian, European and African markets, which becomes a new highlight and symbol for its fast economic growth. The consecutive breakthrough in African market has once again proved the international competitiveness of Puzhen’s products.
 
Tunis project is the first export project for driving force scattered internal combustion CRH of China, with high technical content. It is the first CRH built to European standard. Every two carriage forms one pair. There will be luxurious and ordinary carriages. Delivery time is Aug., 2011. Guinean project consisting of 19 25G carriages with semi-cushioned seats and 3 25G dynamo vans, will be delivered in April, 2010. Six different types of passenger cars will be made for Zimbabwe project: express carriages with semi-cushioned seats, express carriages with cushioned seats, express semi-cushioned berth sleeping car, express bar carriage, baggage dynamo vans and suburban train. First batch of vehicles of the project will be delivered in mid June, 2010. 
 
Project of Guinea and Zimbabwe both adopt international standards and railway standard. CSR Nanjing Puzhen will introduce the Chinese standards to the world by promoting products to overseas markets. (Nanjing Daily)
