Reporter got to known from Nanjing Youth that when Nanjing is applying for the 2014 second Summer Youth Olympic Game, the Nanjing volunteers in Guyana also took part in the camp of publicizing the Youth Olympic and cheering up for Nanjing.

Zhou Luyang, team leader of the Nanjing Young Volunteers Service Team to Guyana, said that if the Youth Olympic can be held in Nanjing, there would be more foreign friends get to know the beautiful and active Nanjing. In this period of time, they are keeping publicizing in all places in Guyana of the circumstance of Nanjing's application for the Youth Olympic. Not long before, Guyana government organized "International Volunteers Reception", Nanjing volunteers performed the Chinese shadowboxing and giving out the publicity materials on Nanjing's application for Youth Olympic. When the international volunteers gathered in GEOGRE TOWN National Park, Nanjing volunteers publicizing and giving out the posters and publicity materials which were made by themselves to the people along the road. “Guyanese are very kind, What we heard the most is 'Cheer up China, Cheer up Nanjing!'" said Zhou Luyang.

After hearing that the Cruises Library on Sea which is travelling around the world had arrived Guyana, the Nanjing volunteers got on board and made publicity pictures with the overseas Chinese on the cruises and took the advantage of Library on Sea to publicizing to the world. (Nanjing Daily)
