Though the software service outsourcing industry of Nanjing is becoming “mature”, the service outsourcing for such new-emerging industry as bio medication is just at the beginning stage. The International Bio Medication R&D and Cooperation Symposium was hosted by Nanjing Municipal Government on June 23, which was undertaken by Nanjing Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade. In the future, the fiscal input of Nanjing will take the establishment of core technology and platform of major enterprises engaged in bio medication as a priority so as to build a world-class “medication valley”.

Up till the end of last year, over 100 enterprises in Nanjing are engaged in the R&D and production of bio medication. The industrial collection has been in initial scale already. In order to support the development of this industry, Nanjing will try its best to get the joint input of RMB 10 billion from four levels—state, province, municipality and district from 2009 to 2012. Meanwhile, Nanjing will lead various social capital input of over RMB 100 billion. (Yangtze Evening)
