“World Top One LED Canopy” is to be built in Hexi. This fancy “canopy” will cover the whole Wanda Pedestrian Commercial Distric.

It will be built at the southeast cornor of Wanda Plaza, Jianye District. The project is expected to kick off in June and complete during the National Day holiday. The scale, class and resolution of the huge “canopy” will surpass the similar project in Suzhou. Now, the “canopy” built in Yuanrong Times Square, Suzhou Industrial Park is regareded the biggest in the world but when Nanjing project is completed, it will win over the title of “World Top One”.
 
The canopy of Nanjing will be of 500m long, 32m wide and 21m high, which is 100 longerthan the huge canopy of Las Vegas, USA. Roof will be sealed with a similar film structure to Water Cube of Beijing Olympics, accessorized by new-type LED strip light, strap light and   spot light. It will cover the whole pedestrian commercial district. (Jinling Evening News)
