Bob, American writer, who came to visit Qinhuai River for its fame, met the girl playing ancient Chinese zither at Li Xiangjun's former residence. He asked: “How could you play such  a quite and sad instrument when you are only 20 years old?"
At 3 p.m., Bob arrived at Xiangjun's former residence, the appointed place. Once Bob entered the room, he said hello to Jing Yuan in English. As it happens, a bird raised under the roof suddenly spoke “Ni Hao”. Everyone turned to be happy because of the small “translator”.

Jing Yuan, the Nanjing girl, plays the ancient Chinese zither for 12 years. Bob was quite surprised that a girl who was burn in the 20 century could play such quite and sad instrument. Jing Yuan said: ＂ancient Chinese zither which has a pleasant sound is one of Chinese culture. It helps me to practice my temper and habitude. Some times I played 12 hours a day but never felt tired.” Later Jing Yuan played her favorite music《Wild goose resting in the sand》for Bob.

The beautiful Qinhuai riverside not only owns the attracting “eight delicious foods” and the appealing “eight beauties”, it also has the skillful Qinhuai famous painters and writers. Performance from the artists of Qingxi writing and painting museum made the visitors felt the lively scenery and the remote and splendid cultures in Ming and Qing dynasty in Qinhuai Area.
