Nanjing Lukou Airport is going to establish three terminals in cities around Nanjing which are Tongling, Xuancheng, and ZhenJiang.

The airport has signed strategic cooperation agreements on aviation services with the above three cities. The agreement says that the first step was to search for a site to set up a terminal in each city which will start construction in later half of this year. This will provide large convenience for passengers in these cities since they can get through all boarding procedures in the terminal and get on the airport shuttle bus to get on board directly after they arrive at the Lukou Airport.

Some executive of the airport introduced that they had already open the terminals in other six cities: Wuxi, Yixin, Huai’an, Ma’anshan, Wuhu, and Chuzhou. Direct airport shuttle buses are arranged for passengers in those cities every day. In addition, airport shuttle buses for passengers in twelve cities are also available, which are Wuxi, Yixin, Jintan, Danyang, Huai’an, and Zhenjiang etc. The number of runs of scheduled buses is 63. Meanwhile, the airport set up a freight station in Wuxi in order to provide services for local freight owners and those in peripheral areas, such as information inquire of flights, freight handling etc. Moreover, ground shuttle buses for both passengers and freight are available which offer “one-stop” airport services.
