The “Hexi New City International Business Week” was rounded off, during which, 33 projects were signed worth 17 billion Yuan in total. Four areas are hotspots for investment, which are financial insurance, hotel management, technological R&D, and starting a new business.

Some executive of the Bureau of Development and Reform, Jianye District, introduced that around the establishment of “one district five cities”, Hexi New City invited businesses in all directions during the business week. Regional headquarter projects of some financial organizations were signed, such as China Merchants Bank, Metrobank, and Hilton. Contracts were also made in hotel projects, software R&D and bio medication projects. The orientation of Hexi New City to become an area gathering modern service industries and financial insurance industries is becoming clearer.

In order to promote further development, Jianye District has made cooperation agreements with some risk investment organizations to incubate those in the technology park which are in the fast developing phase but lack capitals. At the same time, the district has signed strategic cooperation contracts with banks, like Industrial and Commercial Bank of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Provincial Bank of Communications, Jiangsu Bank, and Nanjing Bank. In the next three years, these banks will provide line of credit worth 20 billion Yuan for the New City’s development. (Nanjing Daily)
