Up till now, the Lukou Airport has built the “terminals” in six cities, such as Wuhu, Ma’anshan, Chuzhou, etc. Passengers can go to the Lukou Airport directly by taking the coach.

In order to solve the problem that it is difficult for passengers inside the urban circle to take plane in Nanjing, the Lukou Airport initiated the plan in 2006—“building the terminal nearer to passengers’ homes” and established the terminals in Wuxi, Yixin, and Huai’an. This year, it built the terminals in Wuhu, Ma’anshan, and Chuzhou.
Passengers in those places can go through procedures of boarding and consigning in advance. When they arrive at the Lukou airport by coach, they can get on the plane directly.

This measure is convenient for those passengers in peripheral cities who transit in Nanjing. (Nanjing Daily)
