located in No.1 Guanghua Road, Baixia District, Najing with a designed area of 2.14 square kilometers, it was named as the NUST National Campus Technological Park by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education in 2003, and was recognized as a provincial-level economic and technological development zone by the Jiangsu Provincial Government in 2006, publicly known as the Baixia Hi-tech Industrial Park. It is divided into three functional areas, namely, the Innovation Area, the Entrepreneurship Area and the Service Area, with focuses on such industries as new energy, new material, electronic information and its R&D and design, scientific and technological agent services, information services and military-to-civil production and services. With a floor area of 160,000 square meters, the Innovation Area concentrates on the construction of an international incubator for hi-tech enterprises, seeking to provide innovative talents both domestic and abroad with a top R&D and incubation platform. The Entrepreneurship Area has a floor area of 900,000 square meters, aiming to become a base for commercialization of such hi-tech findings as national-defense-related inventions, optical-mechanical-electrical integration and electronic information as well as a headquarters R&D center. The Service Area has a floor area of 110,000 square meters and mainly offers intellectual exchange, commercial consulting, agent services, investment and financing services and other similar general commercial and technological services.
At present, the Park has attracted more than 220 corporations with approximately 5,000 employees and has introduced a number of key projects such as Tian'an Digital City, LES R&D and Production Base, Delan R&D Mansion, Bidetech R&D Center and DBS Technology Building.
