On this August 28th, Nanjing Ikea, a chain store of Ikea Grop from Sweden, is to be open for business.

As the largest retailer of furniture and domestic appliances in the world, Ikea has by far established all together 6 stores in Mainland China. The one in Nanjing is the 6th and largest one among the six Ikea stores. Adopting similar style and layout with all other five store in Beijing, Chendu, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen, Nanjing Ikea consists of three stories above ground. Products available here will be the same as provided in other five stores, with only a meager difference of 2%-3%.

Located nearby Kazi Gate Square, the newly established store is capable of receiving as many as 1,390 motor-driven vehicles and 500 non motor-driven vehicles in its underground parking lot.

Total investment for this store amounts to 54 million USD. When opened to business, estimated annual sale could be up to 440 million RMB, while tax produced by this amount of sale could reach 22 million RMB. (Nanjing Daily)
