After the weekend charter flights across the Taiwan Strait came into use, a media group from Taiwan came to Jiangsu Province. This media group consists of reporters from ETTV, Habour and city Radio, Travel magazine and other Taiwan media. After arriving in Nanjing in the middle of july, they interviewed the Overwater Tourism Route of Qinhuai Scenic Area and other tourism resources and gave their positive evaluations.

They carried out field interview in the Confucius Temple, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and other scenic spots. Although the Taiwan reporters were no strangers to the scenic areas of Nanjing, they still highly praised Qinhuai Night Scene during their visit to Qinhuai at night.

The members of the media group also showed great concerns about Tour Route of the Republic of China ,which focused on buildings constructed in the Period of the Republic of China, Tour Route of Lien Chan - James Soong?s and other tourist lines. They said that the weekend charter flights would promote trade, tourism and cultural and non-governmental exchanges between Taiwan and the mainland. After going back to Taiwan, they would introduce Jiangsu to Taiwan residents. Besides these, they also said, ?Nanjing has a very good public order and friendly residents.?  

According to introducing, Taiwan is one of the largest inbound tourism sources of Nanjing with 200,000 inbound tourists per year, 20% of the total inbound tourists. (Nanjing Daily)
