Nanjing Tata AutoComp Systems Limited (NTACO) is a solely-owned enterprise founded by TACO Group in Jan., 2007 within Nanjing Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone with a total investment of USD11 million and a registered capital of USD9 million. The company came on stream in 2008 with half of its business from exports to countries like Germany, UK, Poland, North America and Canada and the other half from the provision of matching components for Chinese whole-car assembly plants. The company has successively passed the TS16949 Quality System certification, the OHSAS18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification and ISO14001 Environmental System certification, and is currently holding a staff of nearly 300.
The company's products comprise injection-molded parts for automotive interior and exterior systems, mainly AC outlets, handles, face covers, cup-holders, ashtrays and grids. Its production processes include injection molding, assembly and painting. The company adopts a special injection molding process (nitrogen-assisted molding and dual-colored injection) and an automatic/manual water-soluble paint sprayer system. Its major clients comprise Shanghai GM, OPEL, GM NA, Volvo and Changan Ford Mazda.
