Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine Is to Set up A Classic Ward for Difficult Miscellaneous Diseases

On May 12th, the reporter learned that Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine will cooperate to set up a classic ward for difficult miscellaneous diseases in the hospital to jointly establish the projects such as “treating potential diseases research center”, “rehabilitation research center”, “anorectal diseases research center”, etc.


It is introduced that Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine was originally listed as "the third affiliated hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine," and after signing the contract, it was turned into the hospital directly subordinated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine with the full name as "Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine”.

 
“This change is of great significance to our hospital,” director of Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine said, the two units will turn the former loose cooperation into tight cooperation.

 
He introduced that Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine will provide policy, resources and manpower support for Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine in introducing high-level talents, constructing key disciplines and special disease and specialty, improving clinical diagnosis and treatment level, constructing mentor team, and carrying out scientific research. For the professional technical personnel of the hospital who have been responsible for teaching for a long time, the corresponding part-time teaching title and the post of postgraduate tutor shall be awarded; To open laboratory, book information resources and various s&t platforms to Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine to guide the construction of key disciplines and special disease and specialty and declaration of scientific research projects and achievements; To manage and guide the clinical teaching work of Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine.

 
“The development of medical colleges is inseparable from the close cooperation with hospitals,” said Huang Guicheng, vice-president of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, “as a ‘double first class’ university, the teachers' scientific research and the talent cultivation of the school all need the help of the hospital platform.” The school will select and dispatch the qualified experts to participate in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine and preferentially recommend outstanding graduates to work in the hospital.
