The Procedure for Spring Festival Travel to Become Easier

On January 9th, the reporter learned from Nanjing tourism market that there is an increasing number of countries to loosen personal tourist visa restrictions for Chinese citizens. The report shows that as of January 3rd, 2018, the number of countries and regions which provide visa-free and arrival visa for Chinese citizens has been increased to 67.

 
“Among them, the number of countries and regions which provide visa-free and arrival visa for Chinese citizens just in 2017 was increased by 6, including Barbados, the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Serbia, Tunisia, Qatar, Gabon,” said the expert of Ctrip.

 
Since the beginning of 2018, a batch of new visa benefits have been launched. For example, since January 1st, 2018, Rwanda has provided the policy of arrival visa for all citizens, including Chinese citizens. The Chinese citizen who hold a valid passport for 6 months or more than and have paid 30 dollars can apply for arrival visa at any legal immigration port in Rwanda with the longest duration of stay being 30 days. From January 16th this year, China and UAE will provide visa-free policy mutually. The Chinese tourists who hold valid ordinary passports can have a trip to UAE for up to 30 days without applying for visas.

 
To promote Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in February, South Korea also has a conditional visa-free policy for Chinese tourists. From now to March 31st this year, people who have been to South Korea in recently five years, or have purchased the Olympic tickets valued over 200,000 KRW in the specified travel agency can stay in South Korea for visa-free 15 days.

 
Some countries can be entered with visa-free if in tour group, for example, Russia is one of the countries.
